Deborah committed her life to the Lord 40 years ago. The consequences and shame of her ungodly living caused her to cry out in despair for God’s mercy and grace. Saved by the precious blood of the Lamb she put her hand to the plow, never looked back, and has persevered by the grace of God. She heeds the admonition of the apostle Paul to be diligent to present herself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed. She exhorts other women to do the same.
Deborah is founder of Abiding in the Word Ministries and passionately teaches the Word in the Greater Rochester Area as a key note conference speaker and workshop leader. She has the unique ability to speak to women regarding the many perplexing issues they face today, and compassionately challenges them to be in the Scripture daily, grow in Christ and be over-comers. She also serves the women of the greater Rochester area as an ACBC certified biblical counselor and Precept Upon Precept inductive bible study leader.
Due to layoffs in the Civil Engineering field, Deborah’s position as Senior Design Technician was eliminated; however, she can attest to the faithfulness of God in His provision. She is joyful in this new season of life, and is thrilled by the new ministry opportunities that have come her way.
